Hello :) Been awhile since i last posted anything here, because I've been so busy with work. Yes, Adrian actually got off his butt and shaked his moneymaker around Bukit Bintang for eight straight days.

Well, not quite actually. Remember how I was job hunting in Pyramid and all? I got hired by the good people of Padini Concept Store there woot woot! Specifically, at the Seed department. I actually started on the 7th. It'd be nice to show you some pics with captions like "me attending to lenglui" or something xD but you know laa, corporate demons don't like cameras in their den.

So anyways, we wear pink polo shirts with brown khakis and black leather shoes. How very gay! But can laa, no biggie. I work either from 10 to 10, 10 to 7 or 1 to 10, which is freaking tiring. No, not because the job is soo challenging or anything but apparently "the golden law of retail" is that...

Thou shall not let your sacred butt touch anything flat or comfortable.

Hell yeah of course i paraphrased. Okayy. It's not that I'm a difficult person to manage or anything, but one of the things which I really appreciated learning in college is basic concept of efficiency. If on rush hour weekends, no sitting, thats totally fine, but on weekdays, there is hardly anyone around dey. Besides, our section is deep into the store, its easy to see if customers are actually walking in. Once you do, stand, but if nobody, rest maa. Cause standing all day is hard, trust me. So yeah, quite dumb and inefficient because after standing all day, and by the time customers really swarm in (about 7pm) i'm hopelessly knackered already and from then on running on spare motivation.

Pfft. Try telling that to Moon (not joking) who is my manager or something. Oh well. There is no need to describe what a sales assistant does la right, very sure you'd get the drift. Since we have Men's Trend, Casual, and Work, as well as Women's Trend and Casual sections plus the fitting room, and there are five of us working at every one shift, we rotate sections often. Fitting room is pretty simple where you just collect clothes that didn't fit, fold em and dispatch them to the respective brand departments (PDI, P & Co etc). Men's section has all the preppy polo shirts and all the usual American high school quarterback kind of clean cutness stuff. And women's section...

Some of the guys said how lucky I was to get to work there because I can meet all the girls *cough* Well there just is one small problem... The clothes there are soo dated! Thats why only aunties go there gahhh! Like seriously dated, I won't reccomend any of my girl friends to get stuff from us man. There was this one time where a young lady tried on this expensive trench coat which gave her no shape at all. I discreetly wrinkled my nose and shook me head telling her to steer clear from it. Good that she got the message. Talking about no shape, our lady mannequins.. they really don't look lady like. Seriously. It has no boobs, the hips are abnormally large and curved out to the front and the posture is too leaned back. So what does it look like with a dress over it? A pregnant woman! Lol. Though I read you'd grow boobs when you are in fact, expecting. But of course, that's another curry recipe all together xD

So anyways, i'll be quitting by the month's end, citing boredom as me main reason. I mean i'm not trying to get a PhD in memorizing how many colours we have for this top, where exactly a particular piece is stored in the store room. Sho lazy and tired. The pay is not great either! RM 5 to the hour is decent but the opportunity cost for my lost leisure hours, it aint worth it.

I've been going to Nalanda Institute in Serdang quite often nowadays and i'm starting to develop a keen interest in learing more about Buddhism, so i enrolled in a weekend course which requires reading and everything. Kinda interesting to dive deeper into your respective faiths i think, learning more than the mere surface of it, like the discourses, history of events and such. Many things are written originally in Pali, and its cool to learn the unedited version. I'm usually impressed not by material things but wit and personality so i asked the headmaster why can't we learn just the English version because the Pali text is translated anyway. The he said that its like reading Romeo and Juliet : O Romeo Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?

With that you can really get the soul of the text. Imagine translating it to O Romeo Romeo, di manakah kamu Romeo?

Nice point there then! I'm sold :)

And after playing the KISS stage on guitar hero, i'd say that they're very very cute indeed. Like Gene calls himself a rock god and his stage persone is the "Demon", their songsd are actually very very cheesy man. This song that i really like "Rock and Roll all Nite", it sounds just like an 80s disco track la, if not for the guitar riffs. So yeah, you don't scare me one bit, even with your axe-bass and fire spititing stunts!

Weee. Such a long post. Byebyee now!

Sardines Swimming Strictly Setempat.

Yesterday when I went to Toys"R"Us to get me nephew a birthday present! :)
And so i picked out this remote-controlled car which was like the totally crazy kind. Not just go straight or back, mere left right. It can flip, rotate, vibrate, cook, spin, and even DRIFT!! O.O I swear i would have bought one for meself lol.

So i brought it to the customer service counter to test drive and see if its all as hyped up to be. Enjoy.

Adrian : "Kak, nak tolong testkan boleh?"

Kak : *angrily* "Tak boleh. Kena beli dulu baru bleh test."

Adrian : *sees lotsa kiddies and parents around. sabar* "Hah? Nak beli baru bleh check?"

Kak : *lazy and frustrated* "Yelah!"

Adrian : *Zen-mode* "Cubalah fikir skit. Apa logiknya kena beli baru test?"

Kak : *stoned*

Adrian : *evil smile, got a brilliant final word* "So biasa you kahwin dulu baru tengok muka suami ke kak?"

Kak : Mari, biar saya tolong testkan kereta tu.

Ice hearts breed hot air.

With metta.

Thanks for the company :)

Delete End Home Insert.

I was looking for one of my Friends season 8 vcd at home when i stumbled upon this dusty jewel case of this shaggy-haired middle aged dude. It was one of the many pirated music cds that we bought from the ss15 pasar malam at the time where downloads where unheard of. Must be 98. Anyways, the only words in front is : Lobo, which is the singer's name la.

I remember listening to it yonks and yonks ago. Typical cheesy love songs. I already know that. But somehow i still wanted to have a go with it. Give it a try.

'Lo and behold!! I went straight to track 3 called "Asian Moon". Lol. I'm sure you would agree that makes a brilliant title for those typical asian porn vids xD As if the songs in itselves are not silly enough, its actually has a karaoke video clip. As in, words at the bottom of the screen.

Shit. It's tempting me to sing along. What the heck, sing la. Lol.
And every video for every song is the same. This Lobo-lookalike (its pirated remember, and i dont think he even had music videos back then) with a acoustic guitar strumming along by the beach in scene one. In scene two, its him chasing and frolicking with this delicious asian girl. Scene three is a repeat of scene one and two. Mucho creativity!

Pfft. I said it was cheesy from the very start eh. But honestly, take nothing away from the songs man. I'm sure you would have heard of "You and me and a dog named Boo" ? Its really just so simple and fun. We can't be emooo-ing or Bullet for My Valentine-sy angst all the time! Not good for the soul.

" must be the light of the asian moon,
could the song of an old asian tune,
lovely dark haired ladies and the words they say,
a late night sail on a moonlit bay.."

Haha omg. It's really fun to listen and shrudder at its silly lyrics weyh! So yes, would totally recommend this to anyone. But downloading the song itself, you don't get the full vibe of it. So anybody wanting to pinjam do get in touch yes?

Moving on, someone sent an sms that goes like..

- Hi. Can I be your friend? ^.^ -

Maybe two years ago i'd say this is Danny's work, but we're just broke ass boys now, every cent counts! So naah, can't be him. Turns out to be one of suyin's friends.

- We were just playing to see how you'll reply -

Sweatness. Like, how else can anybody reply other than smelling the same like "who's this please" right. And she wants me to have lunch with her friends lol.

Oh yeah, saturday night i finally got to see people that i have not seen since... a long long time ago (to the tune of Your Mother Should Know). The guys never changed. Though Adrian used to have really silky long hair to like his shoulders, and he cut it orffffffffffffff! o.0 whyyy......

As for the girls..eyeliner woot woot! Its thorugh looking at them do i feel so old. Kinda like watching your own kids grow up? xD They look so womanly now! Sigh. But even though all the guys were eyeballing them, you'll never see them as that way you know? Especially christine. After the times that we trade verbal punches (razor sharp wit and sarcasm weyh), you can be the next doutzen kroes or miranda kerr and the guys go lining up, i know you gahgah.

And kevin has braces now. Cun laaa! Wonder what will happen if he stood muka terngaga in front a giant super sensitive magnet tho. It was kinda awkard at first, but once everybody geed up, t'was nice :)

I miss you :(
